Meet our Founder
Established in 1997, London Link prides itself of being the leading independent estate agency exclusively specialising in the unique investments of hotel suites located in the heart of Westminster, London. Set up in 1997 by Property expert Lesley Balding has focused her full attention on assisting clients in all aspect of residential sales lettings and property management, with the past decade focusing on the sales and acquisitions of suites in both Park Plaza County Hall and Park Plaza Westminster Bridge hotels. Lesley’s extensive knowledge is second to none and has developed a professional team of solicitors and tax advisors to offer a seamless service.
Leaving the UK at the age of 18 with a passion for travel and property, Lesley established her own Hong Kong Estate Agency property business at the age of 26. In 1996 Lesley sold the business and returned to the UK. Her inspiring story is full of diversity, global property investments and a passion for supporting residential neighbourhoods and community projects where she lives.
“With the development of London Docklands, I returned to the UK to establish London Link Properties, an independent estate agent, initially set up to service my investor clients based in Asia with London property portfolios. The business has grown and evolved since then and today, London Link is fully focused on the London hotel suite resale market for property investors with a particular focus on two prime central London developments – the Park Plaza County Hall and the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge.”
Voluntary Position and Community Cohesion
Lesley has dedicated in excess of 35 years serving as a voluntary Director on several residential boards. Her deep understanding and knowledge of Block Management has been integral in aiding key initiatives. She has facilitated management improvements; significantly reduced budgets and expenditure, and progressed the funding for remediation of serious cladding issues with the government and developers.
Having held several voluntary board positions for residential housing projects across London, Lesley has been integral in aiding key initiatives including progressing the funding for remediation of cladding on London residential developments following fire at Grenfell Tower in 2017.

Lesley is a founding member of the Limehouse Community Forum (LCF) established to bring the neighbourhood together and promote community cohesion. Instrumental in organising an extensive clean-up’s of the Limehouse Thames foreshore in conjunction with Thames21, Tidy Briton, The Port of London Authority, Corporation of London & Environmental Agency, Lesley’s work and environmental efforts were recognised in The Queen Mother’s Birthday Awards Special Mention. Lesley was honoured with the Freedom of The City of London in recognition of her community involvement and commitment.
Lesley was also active with a number of community projects throughout the calendar year, including the annual Limehouse Festival and Historical Docklands event as well as our late Queen’s Birthday and Jubilee Celebrations.
